Freund – Short Film

In this short film, I play the lead role of Karl Freund, German director of America’s Dracula. The story tells the tale of Freund’s mentor and friend F.W. Murnau’s death, and how it impacts Freund while he’s trying to save his film.

This short film was a film class final for Daniel Trout. It is inspired by the events around the making of 1938s Dracula and the director Karl Freund.
